Such an easy record to listen to, all its elements seem to come together almost simultaneously and with a precision that appears effortless in its depth. It is a clearly individual and brave sound that draws on Jazz, electronica and Dance.
Favorite track: Fleeting Haunt.
Southampton appears to be a hotbed of dusty electronic talent… well, Tropics and Gang Colours anyways. Wicked EP (in a hand screen-printed sleeve if you buy the vinyl) via the consistently excellent Five Easy Pieces label.

I heard this album back 2016 , just was not in the mood for it, was still into more faster 4/4 beat music . Over last four year I have progressed into this love of soul , funk and especially jazz. This record is on fire, I love it so much . I love changes of the time signatures, yeah it has though Herbie feel, but also the urban feel, back in forest hill I go! jazz, funk, broken beat all in one it's a must ! Gary Hawkins

Shipibo Icaro has such wonderful deep bass. I could plod up any mountain with those beats pushing me along. I might just make love to Spice Melange later on. Kuku is a banger with a bit of a footwork feel without the glitch. Solid album. Loos.id
